This course will introduce users to the new interfaces of Excel 2007, including the new ribbons. It will also show users how to create comments, print worksheets and create charts.

Topic 1: Getting Started

Includes a guide for complete beginners, includes subjects like using the ribbon, the formula and status bar, adding, renaming and navigating around a worksheet.

Topic 2: Creating a Worksheet

This part will go into more detail about the day to day features of Excel. Users will find out how to enter text data, values and formulas along with using some basic functions like Autocomplete and AutoSum.

Topic 3: Formatting Data

Users will see the formatting techniques used in Excel 2007 including cell size, layout and data formatting.

Topic 4: Editing and Printing Worksheets

As well as formatting cells users will find out how the entire worksheet can be formatted so it can be printed.

Topic 5: Managing Worksheets

Users are introduced to some of the more advanced functions of Excel 2007 including naming cells and ranges, protecting worksheets and working with multiple workbooks.

Topic 6: Using Charts and Objects

This topic will show you how to use charts to visually display data. You will see how to create charts, and how to user SmartArt to create eye catching and effective worksheets
