This set of courses shows you how to use Access 2007 to create, alter, and connect to databases. It shows you how around the Ribbon-based Access 2007 interface, along with how to create tables, reports, and forms. You will also learn how to use queries and filters to sort through data.

Topic 1: Introduction to Access

After viewing this topic you will know how to find your way around the Ribbon interface, to create a database and understand views.

Topic 2: Creating Tables

This topic will show you how to create tables in Access 2007, you will also be able to insert, and delete data into those tables. It also introduces you to some of the terminology such as flat files, primary keys, data types and relational databases.

Topic 3: Working with Tables

This module gives you information on creating tables, including advanced features such as validation rules, input masks, and table relationships.

Topic 4: Creating Forms

You will learn how to creat forms in Access 2007, including split forms, and more complex multiple items forms. You will also learn how to create customized forms using the Form Wizard.

Topic 5: Creating Reports

This tutorial will show you how to create reports in Access 2007 using the Report Wizard and also creating more customised reports.

Topic 6: Creating Queries and Filters

This course gives you information on how to use filters and queries to sort and search your database tables. You will learn how to filter using the Sort and Filter feature along with building queries using the Query Wizard.
